During high water flow seasons, it is common to get a bit wet from the continuous mist coming off the falls. After snapping some pictures, I looked like a drenched cat. but getting a bit soaked is well worth it. Especially when you see the vibrant rainbows.

This tranquil waterfall’s name is definitely well matched, Narada is a Hindu word translating to either 'uncontaminated' or 'pure' in English.

Formerly known as Cushman Falls, Narada did not receive its current name till 1893. Arthur F. Knight decided to rename the falls after the Narada Theosophical Society of Tacoma.

Narada falls is just as impressive during the winter as it is during the summer. During the winter, the waterfall frequently freezes into 176 foot icicles, creating a perfect location for ice climbers. Even if you are not an ice climber yourself, it is always fun to stop and watch when heading up to go sled or snowshoe at Paradise.
