Adventure Hike Travel is a blog dedicated to helping you get outside into the great outdoors. To inspire and encourage you to stop daydreaming and start doing. To get out there and live the best life possible. To live adventure filled lives no matter how much money you make or what phase of life you are in.

About Adventure Hike Travel

We’re three siblings—Samantha, Robert, and Jason—born and raised in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Growing up in Washington State shaped who we are: people who crave fresh air, mountain views, rugged trails, mossy forests, deep snowpack, and spontaneous adventures that start with, “Want to go check this out?”

Outdoor life became our normal, and over the years it turned into something we wanted to share—not just in Washington, but wherever our travels take us.

Who We Are

Samantha Panzera Adventure Hike Travel Team

Samantha

Founder of Adventure Hike Travel and the one always dreaming up the next trail, road trip, or mountain adventure. Hiking and backpacking are her biggest passions—she loves long days on the trail, exploring new peaks, and finding those hidden views you only get by putting in the miles.

She also snowboards often and is getting into splitboarding, excited to document the learning curve and the backcountry experiences that come with it. After years of climbing in the gym, she’s now venturing onto outdoor rock and loves the challenge of real routes.

A total research geek, Samantha dives deep into trail stats, maps, route options, and conditions, and she enjoys turning that info into helpful hike guides and travel content. At her core, she just loves being outside, learning new things, and sharing the journey so others can plan confidently and find their own adventures.

Robert Panzera Adventure Hike Travel Team

Robert

Snowboarder and splitboard-obsessed gear guy who’s always tinkering with new setups. He loves digging into gear specs, poring over trail maps, and finding the best lines to ride once the snow stacks up. Lately he’s been having a blast documenting splitboard adventures and can’t wait to spend even more time filming in the backcountry. While he’s newer to the hiking and backpacking side, he’s quickly embracing it as a way to reach more terrain and scout future winter routes. Robert also loves talking through gear choices, comparing setups, and breaking down what actually works in real Pacific Northwest conditions—from outerwear and avalanche gear to boots, boards, and everything in between.

Jason Panzera Adventure Hike Travel Team

Jason

A lifelong hiker and backpacker who spends summers filled with hiking adventures, and when winter rolls around, you’ll find him snowboarding almost every weekend. Now that he’s getting into splitboarding, he’s even more excited to spend time in the backcountry and explore terrain you can’t reach from a chairlift. He’s always ready to explore a new trail, wander somewhere remote, and share the views, challenges, and discoveries along the way. He loves testing gear and sharing what works or doesn't work in the mountains.

What We Do

Adventure Hike Travel is a place for exploration, storytelling, and learning through experience. Most of our content comes from the Pacific Northwest—because that’s home—but we also love traveling and sharing adventures from anywhere we roam.

Our videos and posts include:

  • Hiking trails in Washington State and beyond

  • Hikes and fun sights to see
  • Backpacking trips and backcountry insights

  • Snowboarding, winter touring, and our splitboarding journey

  • Adventure travel wherever we go

  • Gear reviews and what actually works or doesn't work on the trail and in the mountains

  • Trip guides, helpful tips, trail highlights, and lessons learned in the wild

  • Travel wherever we go, and what we learn and think will be helpful for others

We’re not professionals—just three siblings who love the outdoors and want to share what we learn along the way. Our goal is to build a community where outdoor lovers can find inspiration, practical info, and a real look at what adventure travel is like, from local day hikes to big mountain snow days to trips across the map.

Why We Share Our Adventures

The outdoors has shaped who we are, and sharing that experience feels like the most natural thing in the world. We’ve always believed that life is richer with adventures, not things—stories to tell, not stuff to show. Every trail, mountain, and winter climb holds a story worth passing on, and we love capturing those moments so others can feel inspired to explore too.

For us, exploring isn’t just a hobby. It’s how we connect as siblings, challenge ourselves, and find moments that remind us how big, beautiful, and wild the world really is. And every time we learn something—whether it’s a trail tip, a gear win (or fail), or a lesson from getting soaked in a PNW storm—we want to pass it on.

Whether we’re in the Cascades, the Olympics, the Canadian Rockies, Hawaii, a national park, or somewhere completely new, our goal is simple: Bring you along for the journey and help fuel your next adventure.

And we hope our experiences help fuel your next adventure.
